Papa Black Davinci is somewhat of a “jack of all trades” of music administration.
Davinci has roots in promotion and management and has collaborated with several notable artists. Among the commercial talent he brought to his city to perform are Jim Jones and Freekey Zekey of (Dipset), Kevin Gates, YG, Nipsey Hustle and Lil Baby to; name a few. He also co-hosted a show with CardiB.
After rapping for two decades, Davinci signed to Jim Jones’ label, VL Records (in conjunction with Empire Records Distribution) on December 17, 2021. He is projected to release his fourth solo project in the fourth quarter following the promotion of his single, “Trap EMO.”
His consistent motivation, musically, has been adversity: Davinci transforms experiences of trial and tribulation into inspiration for his music. He turns struggle s into success through hard work, patience and persistence “A lot of artists talk about what they’ve been through. But I survived and overcame the struggle,” he said.
Davinci is a verified artist on music streaming platforms, and on YouTube his videos have amassed more than 1,000,000. On Davinci has garnered 400,000 streams from listeners in the U.S. and Europe.
